Public exploration and optional accounts · v0.3.0

What's new

Bridgeboard is still being built. This page shares the meaningful changes we make for students and advisors—not a list of technical commits.

v0.3.0

October 23, 2026

Current

Public exploration and optional accounts

Bridgeboard is now designed to be useful without signing in, with one simple account for saving work.

  • Kept university exploration, profiles, comparisons, scholarships, and transfer resources available without an account.
  • Replaced separate student and advisor entry points with one account using only email, password, and an optional name.
  • Focused the private workspace on saved universities, comparison, simple application statuses, ordering, and personal notes.
  • Moved the earlier advisor collaboration pilot out of the active product while preserving its implementation for future review.
  • Added a dismissible beta notice and clearer reminders to verify changing details with each university’s official sources.

v0.2.0

October 13, 2026

Decisions, questions and next steps

Bridgeboard now supports a clearer transfer decision process for students and invited advisors.

  • Added source-backed opportunity labels, stronger Explorer filters and a public comparison page for two or three universities.
  • Expanded every university profile with reviewed transfer-credit policies, equivalency tools and pathway resources where available.
  • Rebuilt the student workspace around a shortlist, reasons, questions, next steps and finalized advising summaries.
  • Added invitation-based advisor accounts and student-controlled connections to named advisors—without match or risk scores.
  • Updated public guidance, scholarships, account controls and privacy language to reflect the current product and its limits.

v0.1.0

October 12, 2026

Pilot preview

Bridgeboard opened its first broad public university-information preview.

  • Explore 116 universities without creating an account.
  • Open transfer-focused university profiles with admissions, affordability, academics, outcomes, campus life, and official contact resources.
  • Find audited admissions and transfer contacts plus hundreds of official university resources.
  • Send technical questions, suggestions, and bug reports from any page using the new feedback button.

v0.0.3

October 10, 2026

Deeper university information

University profiles became more useful for real transfer conversations.

  • Added an approved program catalog for the first 39 reviewed institutions; more schools will appear as their program data is verified.
  • Added transfer admissions, cost and aid context, student outcomes, athletics, and campus-life details where reliable data is available.
  • Kept unknown values blank instead of guessing, and added source context where practical.

v0.0.2

October 2, 2026

A focused student workspace

Accounts became optional and useful for planning rather than a requirement for exploration.

  • Students can save and order a shortlist of up to 10 universities.
  • Added side-by-side comparison for two or three saved universities.
  • Simplified the profile to lightweight planning details, advisor connections, and account settings.
  • Removed mandatory onboarding from the core exploration experience.

v0.0.1

September 30, 2026

The information hub begins

Bridgeboard shifted from a small matching experiment to a broad university exploration hub.

  • Expanded from seven institutions to a 116-university directory.
  • Added search, filters, and explicit sorting across transfer-relevant measures.
  • Made university exploration available without an account or personal financial information.
